Grrrrrr!!!

I WAS going to do a big update, but it just took me 20 minutes to sign in to blogger. Now it's time for supper and Survivor.

I WAS going to post my pictures of the Storm Large/Gilby Clark concert for Carey but Blogger hates me.

I AM going to buy myself a laptop soon so I can have a computer at the cottage.

I AM still alive.

I DO miss you all. A lot.

Two weeks and counting...

It's been a crazy week here. Last Saturday we drained my waterbed and emptied everything out of my bedroom so we could begin the drywalling. Jamie came up to help and ended up cutting his thumb while cutting the drywall. Mommy had to take her baby boy to the hospital. They glued it up instead of stitching and I had to keep redressing it because it wouldn't stop bleeding. Fun, fun, fun.

While the drywalling is going on I've been sleeping on the couch and that is wearing very thin. I want my waterbed and bathroom back!!!! My clothes are all in the front living room and my bathroom stuff is crammed into Dave's tiny bathroom.

We finally got the car back. It was in the garage for a week before they finally got it back to us. We had a rental but it was sure nice to get my pretty red car back.

Work has been crazy too. Not a single minute to myself. The flirters have toned it down a little although Mr. Filled Jeans brought me a donut last week.

I'm counting down the weeks to cottage time. Next weekend we have to finish the painting and getting my bedroom back together as well as spending Easter with my parents and siblings. The weekend after that? It's cottage time! I'm taking books, booze and movies and plunking my butt on the couch for two whole days of relaxation!

Still not smoking full-time but I have been having one a day. I'm okay with that for now.

My parents are on their way home from their month in Florida. I miss them.

Dave's been working with some guys from Pennsylvania at work for the past few weeks. They took us out for dinner last Sunday night at the most expensive restaurant in town. I thought about having dessert but couldn't justify someone having to pay $10 for a piece of cheesecake. *grin* They took yesterday off and came to visit us. They wanted to see some of the sights and wanted to visit our cottage. They wanted to rent it for the remainder of their stay once they saw it. Unfortunately, the lake is still covered in ice so we can't hook up the water quite yet. They enjoyed their little visit into Quebec and took a ton of pictures.

I made banana muffins today. And chili. Then I cleaned out my recipe drawer and made copies of favorites for the cottage. I probably do more cooking and get more creative there than I do at home.

Dave would never made a living as a drywaller. He extremely talented when it comes to a lot of other fix-it things but drywalling is not his forte. Sofa king slow! My arms are sore from the sanding I've been doing. I swear he thinks this is a body job on a car. The best laugh we had all weekend was when he took a break for a blow job. Blowjob=blowing the drywall dust off himself with the air nozzle in the garage. *grin* After that, every time he needed a break he'd say it was time for a blowjob.

Is it September yet? *pees* As much as I don't want to wish the summer away, I just can't wait for September to roll around this year.
