Friday Questions

1. I forgot to bring margerine for my leftover mashed potatoes on my lunch. Would peanut butter be a reasonable substitute?

2. Did Bob blow up her blog? Or did she ban me because I called her Bobdebigmeaniestupidhead?

3. Should I go grocery shopping after work? I need groceries but I hate the thought of going after work. And there's no way I'm driving back to town on the weekend.

4. Who's excited about the Olympics starting today? What's your favorite winter sport to watch?

5. Do you think Wayne Gretzky is involved in the betting scandal?

1. Got any ranch dressing?

2. No, but I told her that measley post didn't count as her daily posting.

3. Stop at the gas station to pick up essentials, skip the grocery store. Friday nights are horrendous.

4. Meh. I could take it or leave it. Especially this weekend-we have all our taped shows to catch up on. 24, Lost, Survivor, How I met your mother...

5. Do you think Wayne Gretzky is involved in the betting scandal?
Not directly, but I really don't give a flyingfuck.

My blog is back with an extra special quality post!

I'm sad about Gretzky, but then I'm Canadian.

I'd like to change my answer for #3. Go to the store today, enjoy the rest of the weekend at home. And buy some animal cookies. The ones that are pink and white, with little sprinkles all over them.

Carousel (sp?) Cookies! I used to love those.

1. I ended up using plum sauce. It was either that, mustard or peanut butter. That's all I had here at work.

2. Yay! Bob's back!!!

3. Weltek, how far away is your house from the grocery store? We have a small grocery store about 10 minutes from us but it really lacks selection and low prices. I normally do my big grocery shopping orders in North Bay. Are you in the same situation? I really think I should go with mm's answer and get it over with because I don't think the nearby store will have animal cookies with
sprinkles.

4. We have some taped stuff to catch up on too but I really like to see the opening ceremonies. I get more excited over the Olympics fashions that the Oscars. *giggle*

5. Me too Bob. This whole thing makes me sad. I feel bad for Wayne and Janet even if she, or I hate to even think it, he, was involved.

1. It's moot now, but no, do not use peanut butter. Gack.

2. Why would you call bob that?

3. Yes, go grocery shopping. And to the liquor store. You will feel better for having done it, and then it will be done and you don't have something waiting for you so that you can't relax because you know it has to be done. Or that might just be a little quirk of mine...

4. I like the hockey, because it's actually hockey. I don't like NHL because they stop playing every 2 minutes for fights or whatever.

5. I expect he knew about it and turned a blind eye. Or maybe he scolded them once or twice and told them they'd better stop, but didn't rat them out.

PB on mashed potatoes? Eewww.

Go grocery shopping. Buy a couple of moose steaks for dinner tomorrow.

I'm semi-excited about the Olympics. I have to buy another Tivo to record it all, though. My favorite sport is the short track speedskating.

I don't think Gretzky is involved in the betting scandal.

3. Yes, just get it over with.
4. Love the Olympics!!! Favorite? hmmm... luge, bobsled, downhill skiing & moguls!!! I can't choose only one! The winter ones rock!!!
5. Meh, I don't really care.

Update!

I went shopping at the small grocery store close to home and spent more than I should have but it was quicker than shopping in the city. Sadly, they didn't have any animal cookies. We picked up wings, salad and a baguette for supper.

Dave is up on the garage roof removing more snow with his buddy. I don't think he really wanted to do it tonight but his friend talked him into it.

Mole #4 and #5 have been voted off the island.

CBC coverage of the opening ceremonies just started and they began with a montage of clips with Peter Frampton's "Show me the way" playing in the background. *grin*

Had to come back and tell MTW that you can't buy moose steaks in the grocery store here. You have to actually go into the bush and kill one. Or have a friend who will share.

lights <---- doesn't mind moose meat but doesn't get all that excited about it.

1. Ranch dressing or BBQ sauce works well.

2. Who knows what Bob did to her blog, but it's back in full view.

3. Drive back to town tomorrow. It will get you out of the house.

4. I really only like the figure skating. I'm not too much into the Olympics these days. Hell, I'm not too much into anything these days.

5. I have no clue what you are talking about.

2. She banned you. She doesn't want your moles.
3. Yes, I need half n half
4. I am. I didn't watch opening ceremonies though. I taped them so Michelle and I can watch together. I like the downhill and the ski jumping best.
5. Yes I do.

1. Mean Jean probably has some butter in her office. She won't mind if you take some next time.

2. I noticed it wouldn't come up last time I was in blogland, but I didn't know it was your fault, Lights.

3. Always put off grocery shopping.

4. Love the Olympics! Everything is my favorite except for some of the ski & shoot -athalon things.

5. I'm sure Janet asked him who he thought would win at various times & considered his opinion. He's either self-deluded or stupid.

2. Beats me. I've been watching the Olympics.

3. I just realized that these are Friday questions and it's Saturday. Stupid me.

4. I looooooooooooooooooove the Olympics. Our TV has been on all day.

5. No. I just cannot believe it of him. Cynical as I am about public figures, this one just screams no.

OH! and I hardly know Peter Frampton from a hole in the ground, but I thought of you toot suite.

I also thought of you when I saw the Canadian team come in wearing those fugly hats. It made me think of your brother's gray one.
(not that your brother is fugly)

*winks @ MTW* That's better, but I'm still waiting.

I'm really sad for Wayne and Janet. I honestly don't think he's involved in it but then I didn't think my friend screwed around on his wife before he left either so I don't have a whole lot of faith in my own judgement these days.

So Swami, can you lend me some cheddar cheese? I'm all out and I refuse to buy it in Quebec because it's white. Stooooopid Quebec.

*giggles @ Coco* Yep, my brother is a fashion trend setter!

Nutzy? Did you not learn to share in school? *blows a smooch in MTW's direction*

2. Not sure about Bob. She could have banned you. She really likes for people to kiss up and send her cookies.

3. Get your grocery shopping over with as bad as it sucks.

4. I'm not really excited about hte olympics.

5. Wayne Gretzky's name sounds familiar.

Peanut butter on mashed potatoes? *puke* Silly Lightsy :-)

Bob would never blow up her own blog.

I always say just go do it and get it over with. Once you're in the store, it's not so bad.

I usually get excited about the Olympics then I remember I'm living in the States and the excitement fades. They RARELY ever talk about any other athletes other than the Americans. I'd like to be able to hear about Canadians.

Not sure about Gretzky or his wife. I'm one Canadian that really really really dislikes Gretzky so I could not care less if he or she is found guilty.
