They used to put the same bows (only blue) on my Newfie after he was groomed. Only the bows looked much smaller and totally stupid on him.
Blogging freak. *snort* So is there a rule is blog etiquette that says you can't post to a previous post if there's a new one? Cause I'm new at this stuff and I don't want to do a blog faux pas.
It would take a lot of Southern Comfort before I'd let bows happen on my hair.
Holly HATES sweaters, coats, boots, bows. One of my earlier blog entries has a picture of her with a coat on but she hates it and won't move unless I take it off her.
She does like her bandana/collar though. She knows that when it comes off it's usually time for a bath or a brushing, neither of which she likes. We try to keep her hair long during the coldest part of the winter so she doesn't freeze. *smoooches back atcha*
Yes, she's a Shih-Tzu. I can't even imagine trying to let her hair grow out long like you pic Sonya. I tried when she was younger but it was constant brushing to keep the hair from matting. She likes being outside too much and gets into burrs and twigs and stuff while she's "hunting" squirrels so the short hair is the only answer.
*giggle* I just got a mental image of the bows on the boss's combover. Yes, he's from Newfoundland. That explains a lot, doesn't it? *grin*
Disclaimer: Most Newfies are perfectly lovely people but some take a lot of getting used to.
I'm new to blog land too, but I don't see a prob with commented to prev post. I keep my males short as it can go during the summer cuz he gets so hot. We are on the lake alot. Then during the winter I just keep it trimmed. They call it the Teddy Bear Cut. Mine is tri color. I love him so much. His name is Jr. I have pics somewhere back in Late Oct archieve of him on my blog.

I want to get Nick a sweater for the winter. DH isn't too keen on that idea LOL.
Every weekend this month there is pets with Santa pics at our Pet Smart. Yeah! I'll post the pic after I get ours done. The cost go towards the SPCA charity, so its a good cause. I did it last year too.
That is one fine looking pup! You know, we could fix her up with Grover. (Just keep her away from that Schnookie's Nick. I hear he is trouble. Trouble with a capital T!)
